Propane mixers only supply the amount of fuel the engine requires... doesn't matter what you do with linkage or if you have two bigass OHG X450's.

All mixers use the same amount of fuel with the CFM going through the venturi .. excessive fuel consumption come from an engine capable of moving enough air to use all the mixer(s) can support.

My propane experiences are that you only notice when you run out of flow capability.. you can make two big mixers drink fuel like one little one if you consciously baby the go pedal.

I got this info from the chaindrive guys who knew how to make a pane rig work.. I'm also basing this post on the assumption that the mixers in question are in proper adjustment.
