xj issue
My 98 sometimes just stalls out sometimes and will always restart.
I'm thinking crank sensor? It sometimes won't start with the key, but someone has wired a toggle switch which hangs from the dash that will activate the solenoid and eventually the starter after maybe 10 tries. There is a remote start on the vehicle and I'm wondering if it may be the cause. Any thoughts? |

Is this one issue, or two separate ones?

The toggle switch is suspicious. If there's a known bad connection in the ignition switch, that would definitely have the potential to shut off the engine, well, like you're turning off the key...

Maybe it just needs an ignition.....
Makes sense. Probably why I can pull out the key while it's running. |
