wish i'd have made it, got the jeep ready, friday morning got up and put $50 in the suburban's tank, gave me 1/4 tank, decided i didn't want to spend $150 in fuel to go, i could go wheeling for that, so i stayed home and worked on the wife's gym all weekend.

I was there Satruday morning until early afternoon. Didn't get to walk around much because all my 3 y.o. wanted was to watch the mud drags and then the monster trucks, then by the time they were over he was ready to fall asleep.

It's nice to see the trend of the completely useless chromed shock show trucks is starting to fade away and being replaced but, at least somewhat, more practical trucks.

Also for future reference the show is a great place to buy parts as the vendors usually have really good deals. Last year bought a set of tires for the towrig/DD for just over $500 when normal retail was $700+, several years ago picked up a display model Ramsey 9k winch for right at $300 when they were going for $500+, and several other small parts over the years.
