Hahahaha, not even the powers of the large bearded one could bring me a 401...

But the good news is that the 5.0L Ford is resting comfortably between the rails as of yesterday. You should see the beefy 1/4" plate base plates on the block... Over built for sure, but that's the way I roll. New flywheel, bellhousing, clutch, short shaft NP435 hanging off the rear... (supported by 2x4 for now, one thing at a time.)

I believe that I will always hold out hope to find one eventually... but for now, the 5.0L doesn't change the driveline at all... except for bellhousing, not a biggy.

Back to toy assembly...

Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good night.

we decided not to participate in the whole christmas celebration this year in the mckeddie household. instead, we are celebrating "Winter Solstice". i'm not sure how it works, but i'm pretty sure i'm not offending anyone by having it

merry christmas...or ummm happy solstice, or ummm have a merry happy rhamahanukwanzmas
