Project Coppertop Axle Swap

Picked up some axles yesterday.Even with the snow falling and the ground a snow/muddy mess ,I manage to cut the axles out.

Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear out of a 1979 F250. Paid 300.00 :)

Now ,let the adventure begin.....

Great deal on the axles....hopefully by spring I'll be doing my yj.I'll be following this one for sure

Is a disc brake swap on tap for the rear?

lky13blazer...if you are going to do the same to yours then i have a '79 ford rearend that you will want. $100.00 and it's yours. it is complete.

thanks I'll keep it in mind but it will be at least after the first of the year before i get to...do you know the gear ratio? and bolt pattern?

boomhauer Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 188	lky13blazer...if you are going to do the same to yours then i have a '79 ford rearend that you will want. $100.00 and it's yours. it is complete. __________________ 95 yj, fresh fuel injected 302, c-6, twin sticked 205, 3 linked high pinion d60 front, double trianulated 4 linked 14 bolt rear (all aluminum links) locked both ends, 4:56 gears, full hydro steering, high steer, 4 wheel discs, 16" 2.5 fox air shocks, 39.5" irok's. just finishing a full frame-up redo thanks to a great friend and one knowledgable(sp?) s.o.b casey cravens for without him this could not have been done in such a short time and done right! LOOK OUT "WHITEY" HERE I COME!!!
