Something for the axle disco guys.
As most of you know I'm running a dodge 60 in the front of my Jimmy and it has the dreaded disco, like some of the older 30's . I've made several homemade disconnects over the years . some with success and some with failure.
I found something the other day that looks interesting and had to order it . It should be at the house tomorrow , going to mount it threw the floor , next to the TC shifter. I'll post up some pics if I remember to stop and snap a couple . https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.a...name=hydraulic I have two different style cables at home , just not really clear how they hook to the shifter until I get to look at it in person ..... |

This is one that I had on the Jeep for a while and removed because I couldn't get it to hold in the shift fork , going to see is I will be able to use it backwards ........ don't know .... I also have a Mercruiser shift cable off a boat that is threaded at both end .... it may work also ..... |
