Track Bar Bracket

Need some advise. My son broke his rear track bar bracket (driver side) and shock mount, they are welded to the Dana 35. They are unrepairable the jeep is a 95 with 2" body lift. Is there a company that makes them or do I need to change the whole track bar set up? Also can anyone tell me how this happen?

Thanks for the help
Rick

well you really do not need a track bar in a YJ it has leaf springs.

Maybe he was trying to flex out the jeep and put too much stress on the track bar and it broke off

Agree. Not necessary.

I put 300,000 miles on a yj with neither trackbar. Never ran the sway bar either. They ride. Better without them.

Swaybars and trackbars on leaf-sprung vehicles always cracked me up. Funny chit.

Thanks for all your info. I will remove it and weld on a new shock mount. Thanks again.
