School me on battery isolators
Found one at Oreillys for $30 good for 95 amps. I guess my main question is when my main battery goes dead does it automatically switch over for starting?

The way i understand it an isolator splits your charging lead and will not let the batteries back feed/drain the other battery if one goes dead... At least that what the set up in my 60 does... Also almost every isolator robs the charging wire of 1 amp...
