Cheap/Safe Vehicle Storage

I need to park my MJ for 5 weeks this summer since I will be out of town and I do not want to park it on the street for that long and I dont have a driveway or garage. Anybody know of good place I can take my truck and it wont be molested/stripped/stolen? I had a garage space lined up, but they backed out last minute.

Thanks,

AARON

Well, I've got driveway space on the east side of town.

I don't know how you'd feel about leaving it with a stranger, though...

But the invite is there...

Quite an offer from a one stranger to another...

Nice site about your junk. I got a kick out of "that would love to change both those stats."

On behalf of anyone who's been forced to blindly ask for a favor, and those that have answered the call... thanks.

Not really... It's no skin off my nose. The driveway is already there, and I'm payin the mortgage either way. :p

It'll piss her off a bit ("Another Jeep in the driveway?!?") and make it a little harder to get the trailer out, but it really wouldn't put me out much...

Would be odd, though, leaving your rig with a stranger.

Guess it would depend on just how trusting you were.

Or how hard up...

Robert

Hi Robert I appreciate the offer! If I cant find something with in my budget I may take you up on the offer. The CORE group seems pretty close and trusting so I am not totally against leaving it with one of you guys. I should know Monday afternoon If I have a spot inside a fence at a storage place.

Thanks again,

AARON

Hey, shoeboy, I saw your rig wheeling by my garage on Sycamore Street this morning around 9:00AM. I was out front watering my flowers. If you can't find a spot for it, measure the absolute widest points on the rig and call me at three five two five eight five eight and if it fits, I'll let you put it in the garage for 5 weeks.

Wilson

Well, there you go!

Inside storage is obviously better than outside,

Hyde Park is way closer to Clifton than Beechmont,

And Wilson is helluva a lot more trustworthy than I am!

So I found a spot in a garage! A big thank you goes out to Wilson! He is letting me park my Comanche in his Garage for the 5 weeks I will be in Europe. My Comanche is sitting next to a Cherokee on one side, then a Unimog 406 on the other, so its got some offroad buddies to hang out with

Thanks again guys for the help/support, its things like this that make this community great

Hehehehe! Well if he decides to stay in Italy and not reclaim it, that new looking Stak transfer case will be looking good in my XJ!

Is your XJ feeling a little bit out of place cause it doesnt have enough shifters like the mog or my MJ?

I will be returning for my rig so no worries
