help explain to wifey please

ok guys here is the deal found a 76 1- 3/4 ton did not get a total look over yet but know this, has a Dana 60 front 12 inch springs front and rear no blocks 460 fresh build and 44 inch G hawgs thats got good tread but does have some dry rot- cab and bed is in great shape has had body work and ready for paint, divorced T case not sure what it is yet like i said not a climb around it look

you guys get the gist please just for sanity in my house just toss out a low buck parts out est. i told her the axle alone is worth going and getting it but she wants her new lift and rims first. i tried to explain deals like this is how you get the lift and wheels for a weekends worth of work stripping it ohhhhhhh and i can pick it up for 500 bucks runs and drives

Auto c-6? I will give ya 1200 for it as long as it is ford. May even throw a dirt bike in also. Axle ratio? Nice find and good luck with the convincing.

but the whole reason for getting it would be to part it out to buy her stuff that she wants to do to her jeep

oh DAYUM!!!! gper cut a guy a break i already have to do all the work on it,,, ok 99% atleast she climbs under it and helps with what she can,, she will be helping put her lift on so she understands whats all going on with what we are doing and why her old wore out springs thats reached more negitive arch then the stock had positive it BAD!!!!!!!

I'm sure you know this but Ford didn't put front D60's in until 1978.

Sounds like a super smoke'n deal..

Tire groover

weld the dif's

And that truck would make 1/2 the $40,000 built rigs it ran across in the wood look silly. Ugly or not. It's still the truck that built this country more then any other.
That things a Haspin rig if I've ever seen one!

It would be a good one to rip the body off and weld on a rail buggy frame.

hey sorry i told you i had not had a hands on look this was from a guy that told me about it. i told him if it was what he said i wanted it,, ok ruffer then her explained,, and we dont share the name she got in here bored and posted,,, the name is something i signed because its her plates and she was looking for info when we found this place...
