Rod Knock!

was driving very safe through a parking lot full of snow

and all of of sudden BAM! rod knock....it was only at high rpms at first now its pretty much constant.....can any one say cummins 4bt?

4.0? What oil and weight are you using? The 4.0's I have had all liked high rpm's. They practically begged for it!

I would trade yours for the other tan one on the lot.

i was using 10w30 ive had oil pressure issues so i put a high volume in it like three months ago.......the tan one is nice and it has the 3spd auto but i like mine way to much.....im goin to do something like a stroker or if i win big on a scratch off a 4bt

Have you 100% verified that it is rod knock and not something else that could sound very similar?

4.0s seem to last forever in my experience, and you just installed a high volume oil pump in yours, correct?
