22re help

I'll try to keep it short. I have an 89 22re that i swapped into my 85 Toy last spring. The only part of the efi harness modified was to keep my guages working. It has been flawless until 2 weeks ago. On our last ride, i started blowing the main efi fuse. I went thru the harness trying to find any bad wires and found none. Replaced fuse to try to get back to the trailer and lasted about 10 min before it shut off. This time no blown fuse, it just died. I had 4 codes, all related to afm & tps. I reset the comp, checked codes and only code i get is 51-tps. I have replaced Just about everything electrical on the engine with new or known good parts and no change.( incl. tps, afm, all relays, comp, you name it it got it lol.) all wires have been checked with a meter and i have the correct voltages & ohms at all points on any circuit per the FSM. Still get code 51-tps. 44 psi fuel pressure at the rail, good spark, all fuses good, i'm lost. Turns over fine, tries to start but thats it. Anyone else have this before? Any thoughts or advice? i really don't want to go back to a carb.

yep. i have a spare computer (same year) and it still gives the same results. I think i'm just gonna have to run new wires one sensor at a time until i figure it out. Really starting to push me towards a propane setup.

does it act odd before it dies. My 88 use to spit and sputter real bad right before it would give up the ghost. MAF sensor fixed mine.

After working on it for a couple hours after work tonight i think i have it narrowed down to 1 wire in the TPS and 1 wire on the MAF that must be broken some where on the wires and only making intermittent continuity. Hopefully a couple new wires and i'll be good to go.
