By the end of the week everyone will have broke something, we beat the hell out of our rigs for 5 days solid.
Today we hit Gasline Motorsports NEAR cambrdige oh. we hit the trail at 10. by 11:30 we were changing an axle in a d35 with a locker that turned out to be a time consuming job. ( axle twisted inside th elocker and was stuck, ednedup pulling the entire carrier to get it, and gettign the clip of the godo axle was tough as nails too becuase the broken axle ahd the locker jammed togather. Then we got hit with crazy rain wind and hail around 2pm, after standing around for 2hrs we called it a day around 4 loaded everything up, to head to the next location. So it was a really shrot day with little trail riding. Next location is 10minutes from my house so im here at home ready for tommorrow. Im sure being this early in the day the others will get a night run in. Carnage today consisted of a d35 rear axle and a couple of big blue tarps that got taken out by 30mph winds but nothing else. Check the previously posted link for todays photos and vids. |

Today we hit Heiney Farms. My wife is in Arkansas today so not many pictures, I dont have much time to get photos.
We did manage to get a yota up the UA Turtle Head trail, he is the first person other than the 5 from the UA to make it. And he is by far the smallest truck to ever make it. Carnage that I recall: Jeep J20 LF axle joint ( managed to save the shaft0 Jeep TJ d30 ring and pinion Jeep XJ oil pan Jeep YJ motormount.oil filter Jeep TJ RF upper control arm mount tore off axle Yota 4runner rear driveshaft Yota pickup RF bogger ( on the ua turtle head trail, and he still made it!) Ford Bronco II right inner tie rod end ( bent to heck) and RF warn lockout The week is starting to take its toll on the jeeps, and even the yotas are startign to fail now. The ford has been breaking all week Again more photos at the previous link. Been having troubles getting things uploaded the last 2 days so I'm still wrking on todays and yesterdays few photos/vids |
