Jeep CJ Fuel Sending Unit

So my fuel sending unit appears to bad. I have been shopping around and noticed prices are different everywhere on the internet.

Locally = $55 (Napa, Autozone, O'riely)
Internet = $25 - $100 (Quadratec, 4WD, Morris)

Does anyone know if one brand is better than the other?

Also, I have an `83 with the 21 gallon poly tank. All of the local shops only offer a 15gallon. I assume that will not work correctly. Is that right?

Any info is much appreciated.

I have found it is a pain to find a gauge and sending unit with the same ohms and I never cared enough to worry about it.

This is my solution to the problem
