OK this Welder is awsome. The infinate adjustability beats the crap out of the Lincoln and Millers (ones in the same price range) with the 7 tap transformers.
Avortec is in Michigan, the owner builds this equipment and started just in Industrial applications but is now getting into the small "shop" size stuff under 480v3ph. It's set-up with a 125 size mix gas bottle and an 11lb. spool of mig wire. I've done some thin filling screwholes in bodywork stuff, as well as some 1/8" and 1/4" frame brackets. I'll get some pics up soon. |

Here is a link to thier web page...
http://www.avortec.com/products/MIGwelderAV210.asp They are going for $1K right now and that is a killer price. If you want to come by and see it in use any evening this week is good. I'll be at the Jeep Jam starting Friday throughout the weekend. I'll shoot you my addy in a PM. |
