Snow wheeling
I'm new to the area, never had the possiblity of snow wheeling before... so sorry if this sounds dumb...
With the bit of snowfall we got, I REALLY want to go wheeling in the Jeep, (if) at any point, will anywhere around here accumulate enough snow to really have a good/challenging time? Badlands? Somewhere in Kentucky? Is there anywhere north of us not more than 3-4 hours away? |

Bad Ass if so.....I've followed your build and pic's. I'm on there all the time. (Edit) I see it is. Nice to have ya here! http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f22/f...thread-457119/ There's a group going to Haspin Acres (Laurel, Indiana) http://www.haspinacres.com/ just because it's close today. I'm sure with the added snow it will be more fun than normal. I may go today myself and beat on the TJ some in a bit but not sure yet. I played some last night locally at a friends farm testing out my Aussie that I just put back in last night..worked great! I'd love to wheel with ya sometime. For anyone interested in his rig....Very Sweet.

There were streets in my subdivision last winter that I couldn't get down in my Blazer with 40's and lockers until they dug them out. Unfortunately the area where we go for most of the trails (south central Ohio) didn't have nearly as much snow.......pretty disappointed afte spending an hour digging my trailer out of the snow. Anyway, point being is we do get snow. Even a few inches on the trails makes them drastically harder.

This is from 99 probably given what i am driving... About 5 of us went to Haspin in the snow, wasn't to bad since we were the only ones there... It all started with a phone call at about 5:30am saying "is it snowing at your house?"
That's 52 at about 8:30 in the morning, and during the week if i remember right... then that's me in ice hole...
