help...im stuck

Okay so driving home today i get Death Wobble twice. Both after hitting a bump in the road (on 75). when i get home i checked everything all bolts are torqued, crawled under it had Mandi cycle the steering nothing is shifting that shouldnt be...im stumped. Tires are balanced...i do have a small shimmy from 55-60 its starting to make me want to get rid of the JK. Anybody have any ideas

Alignment. I think its max. toe in and min. caster within the factory specs. Also look for worn out bushings, tie rod ends, wheel bearings. Good luck!

just had the alignment done last week back to spec, bushing all look good and bearings are still good. Scott looked all over them. this thing is killing me..lol

Does it have a steering stabilizer on it? I had death wobble on mine that started at about 25mph, it was BAD. I balanced my 36" tires and added a steering stabilizer and that took care of the wobble.

Mine is not a DD but I have tested it up 55mph and no wobble.

Just a thought....

bumps causing wobble for me have indicated a bad trackbar (if that's what it's called - the bar from the frame to the axle). Those bushings wear out quick & once they're bad the axle can jump all over & scare the crap out of ya. Get a prybar & pry on all your joints in the front end - if any move at all they're bad.

Ive pryed on them and they look okay.....i have a duel steering stabilizer everything looks to be okay... Im going to put the Swampers on it today and see if i just have bad tires or something
