Reds at 4wp

All this talk about stickies got me worring about how and where I'm going to get my next set. So I called 4wheelparts expecting to get no for an answer but they told me that they can order non-DOT krawlers and sell them to me. I was under the impression that you either had to be sponsored or know a guy that knows a guy to get reds. Is that not the case?

I bet the 4WP made a mistake... BFG produces these in such small numbers I can't see them offering these to the general public nationwide.... unless the $$ is stupid high...

What was the cost... any mention on the 42/20 Red?

They can't sell to the public. Im pretty sure they are still back ordered last I knew. Get to know someone who can vulcanize. I have a few places to get them from if you ever get in a pinch with them (ha, I made a pun, im a god dammed comedian)

Heres the krawler page at 4wp
http://www.4wheelparts.com/Tires/BF-...00787&t_pl=831

and the comp tire page from BFGs site

http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/bfgco...krawler-t-a-kx

Looks like the same tires to me???

Never tried treps, are they easier to get and how do they compare to krawlers?

Better. Tread cleans out better, no sidewall cracks, closed cell construction so they don't get heavier when wet, and they make u faster, better and stronger and all the ladies love them too..

They're reds though, they're still good!. The steel belts just add traction.
