My Place
I am curious if anyone would be interested in coming out to my place in KY sometime to wheel. I go often.
Some details. Its about 160 acres, I have a cabin, composting toilet, electric, no running water till weather stays warm then its very limited water, very hilly, mass trees, not much flat, the main trail to the top of the ridge is about 1/4 mile hill, not a lot of trails but I constantly work on that, there is a 2 mile loop around the ridge line with some off shoots. The trails were made for quads but now fit my VW rail buggy, not sure how a 4x4 would do because of the angles and trail width but I don't have a problem widening trails if need be. Due the the size of the hills I wouldn't want anyone without a roll cage on the trails. I have a waiver to be signed for anyone that comes (CMA). Ironically parking is limited due to not much flat and oh yeah you have to cross 2 creeks to get to the cabin. Its not that bad though, an eclipse did make it but it scraped a lot Thats probably to many details but anything you want to know just ask. Oh yeah my dogs are always with me so if you don't like dogs sorry. |

Dogs meaning yorkies correct? Wolves scare me! Sounds like good land for a side x side!

I can give a tour in my buggy also in case someone wants to see the trails before they bring there vehicle down. Or just come and drink some beer, I have a nice fire pit and lots of potential fire wood

I need a little feed back. I know only a few people want to check my trails out but I dunno if I should post every time I am going, not at all or only when I plan a week or so in advance. I been going every weekend lately but it wont always be that way. Like I have said if anyone wants to just see the trails first you can come without your trail vehicle and ride in the wildcat with me

Ill come out sometime this year.
Either in a jeep,... if the trails are wide enough Or on a quad or dirtbbike. Always willing to check out a new place especially if the price is right.

I'm not sure if a jeep would fit yet might be tight but I do trail work pretty much every time I go. There is a couple big trees I want to take down but I want someone with me when I cut the big ones. Hopefully next time my cousin is down we can get them cut

Only thing I need to stress to people that come is no littering and from a large ride I went on last weekend people don't seem to consider cig butts littering or they don't care. I do consider it litter

Looks like I will be having some people out memorial day weekend. I know there are other rides and lot of things going on but if anyone wants to come check out my place they can. My friends don't have wheels so I give them rides and we hang out a lot and drink. Kinda mild time but if someone wants to come get a tour I will work you in lol. I may end up going down early but as is friday evening till monday afternoon

There are some pretty serious hills now. Most of the trails are old logging trails. Recently found several more that are over grown. Half of a hill trail I cut straight out of the woods. With all the leaves and everything it was like mulch. My rail buggy couldn't bite on it at all but the wildcat pulls it easily so it opens up new posibilities just takes time. Elavation change from top to bottom of some of the hills is around 500 feet so yeah its all steeper than it looks. The top is higher than the eiffel tower at kings island. Views are amazing.

Here is a short little clip but its at dusk so you can't see well. I have the camera facing backwards. This is the first clip that you can get any sense of a hills though.
