2k XJ

Selling my XJ.

Modifications (the Goods) -
Remote Start
Sony Explode CD Player w/ remote and detachable face plate
Amp and Sub woofers (currently disconnected)
Swapped in High Pinion Dana 30
4:56 gears
Ected Electric Locker in the front
Detroit Truetrac In rear Chrysler 8.25
Slip Yoke Eliminator (SYE)
Tom Woods rear Driveshaft
6.5 Rough Country Lift w/ Long Arm conversion
Rough Country Shocks in Front
Rough Country Tubular Rock Sliders
Bilstein 5100’s in the rear.
35x12.50 R15 BF Goodrich KM Mud Terrains (including Full Size spare)
ATX Teflon coated Chamber wheels
JCR Stage 3 Front off road bumper with winch mount
Hella 500FF Auxiliary Lights
Uniden CB w/ Firestick Antenna
Jasper replacement Motor
Performed at 97,870 Miles (currently 101,192 on the clock, so engine is basically brand new)
Also just performed Oil change
Replaced Battery
New serpentine belt
New Alternator
New Front Brake Pads, Rotors, and calipers
New Oil Pressure Sending Unit

Bad –
This has primarily been used as a dedicated wheeler for the last two years, so the paint does have scratches (Kentucky Pin striping).
One of the Hella Aux lights has a broken lens.
Driver rear tire has a slow bead leak.
Since it has been sitting, the tires could use a re-balancing.
AC needs to be recharged.

Additional –
I have owned the Jeep since 2004. It has always received regular maintenance. The replacement engine was to address the 2000’s cylinder head design flaw, and was replaced with the corrected appropriate head (similar design to the ’99). Since we have owned it the jeep has always been tagged and plated in Kentucky. It is completely road safe. Buyer will also receive a 48’ Farm Jack and set of tire deflators.
The jeep is far from perfect with minor scratches, dings, and small dents, but it has seen many local trails and has always made it home. It is as solid as an anvil and just as tough, just needs someone to use it.
askin $5500 price is firm, Too many new parts to go lower.

If anyone is thinking about it this Jeep has alot of nice parts on it and goes well. I took it through Mason Jar in Harlan last fall with no issues.

Bypassed most of the ledges. Scott (XXJ) wasn't there to give me his blessing and I wanted to bring it back to him intact.;)

I can just about guarantee that it's just crap caught in the bead. The KM's have that little "rim protector" lip, and I was always having trouble with them pulling bark, dirt, whatever down inside the bead.

I/you could pull the wheel off the jeep, use the hilift to pop the bead, clean the crud out, and have it aired back up and back on the jeep in about a half hour..

Minor hassle, sure, but I bet there's nothing really wrong with the tire...

Good luck with the sale, it is a nice rig!
