Measuring for shocks
Do you just measure compressed and extended with the springs out and pick a shock? Why do people flex the trucks-jeeps-buggys to measure them?

Shocks don't last long being used as bump stops or limiting straps... worst part is they kill your on-trail performance until you bust the mount or pull the piston off. Edit: trail rig I assume? Last edited by JeffK5; 05-27-2012 at 09:43 PM. |

It kinda depends on where your bump stop is located in relation to your shock mounting point.
