Nice, now you just need another one, and you'll have two really huge steerable axles... and LOTS of scrap.

Just kidding.... what's your plans...

what are you guys paying for these, where from, and how horrible of milage? i'm going ot guess 6-7mph? i've always wanted one to cruise around town in.

a buddy of mine just picked up a 5 ton chasis, he's putting a crew cab chevy body on it, already has a cat diesel from a semi, and tranny put in it, and is putting a flat bed on it to haul his jeep with, all on the 52'' tires (he has 5 tons under his jeep too).

I got mine from http://www.govliquidation.com I paid 2400.00 for it but they very depends on how many people are bidding.

mine run 55 to 60 mph and get about 10 mpg. they'll run on a mixture of diesel and just about anything that will burn. I mix used motor oil and #2 fuel oil.

I've had it at haspin and it did very well..just don't go down any tight trails if you want to keep your mirrors.

You can find about anything you want to know about them here http://www.steelsoldiers.com/forum.php

Steel Soldiers big annual outing is June 10-14 at Haspin. I just want to see these big rigs roam around in there and maybe catch a ride in one.

Darrel has some real good vids posted at Steel Soldiers. I'll edit this post with the links as soon as I find them.

I bought mine from GL they go from $800 to $4,000 depends on the weather on the viewing day. (Due to the ice storm no viewing on the 40 trucks that sold last week.) Due to that I got mine for $1,035 it has 50,000 miles on it. my buddy bought 3 of they now I wish I would of bought another one.

I guess it doesn't see much street time...

But the blue-n-white bus in the background looks familiar...
