2wd Chevy trans?

Will a 2wd model th400 mount to a 205 case when the tail shaft housing is removed? In place of the 4wd model?

you will need a different tail shaft, a shorter one i believe. my case is a 2wd one, and i had to replace mine to mount to my STAK.

just as a get me by for the week and to work because it was my dd at the time i have taken the housing off and just cut the tail and it worked enuff to get me the few days i needed before i tossed the rebuilt one in
