I havent been back up to the fair grounds since we last worked on the course. I am going up tomorrow around noon to set the banners and cones. I really wish we had more large rocks but the course as is will put on a good show. The fair has already talked about adding more for next year.

I didn't take any pictures. We ended up with 12 rigs show up. 8 in the 37" and under class and 4 in the 38"+ class. The drivers and the crowd really enjoyed the event. It started pouring the rain at about 3:15 and rained till 4. It was a monsoon! Which after the first round it had dried up pretty good. We ended up running everyone twice and taking the average time and picking the winner. I won the small tire class and Lee Adkins won the large tire class. I gave the newspaper reporter a ride for both of my runs. He really enjoyed it. There was a big article in the Ashland news paper, The Daily Independant. You could probably look on their website if you were interested in reading the story. All in all it was a good event, they are already talking about adding more for next year.
