focus cold shifting issues?

iv got a 2003 ford focus.. its auto. 2.0 when its at operating temp it shifts perfect even overdrive it shifts perfect.. but if the car is not warmed up it shifts from 2nd or 3rd it revs up high b4 it shifts. flushed trans and new filter... any ideas? just worried its gonna crap out on us lol. im pretty stumped. also it idles high iv replaced tps and maf sensor and idle air control valve new plugs n wires and i cant get idle to drop... any ideas im stumped fellas
