New (to me) Daily Driver...
Heheheh...
It's got two regular doors... It's got a tailgate... It's got 4wd... It gets far better gas mileage than the trucks that I have... Ok, it's a Honda Element... really 4 doors (two suicide), really all wheel drive, not 4x4, but you get the picture... My neighbor has already asked for my "Man card" back, so I expect nothing but ridicule... so let the bashing begin... Below was the other night when the rain turned to snow... It would ALMOST fit on the back of the truck... And yes, last night I got the first speeding ticket in it... :o

I like the Elements. I'm trying to talk my parents in to getting one. Very versatile little vehicle. What kind of gas mileage are you getting/expecting??

If it's not a CJ, Samurai or FORD I'm not going to be crazy about it but I hope it works out well for ya.
Nice looking rig really. |

This one is my fuel efficient daily driver... this fuel efficiency thing is what took the Wranglers and FJ-Cruisers out of the mix... they can't touch 24-28mpg in a 4.0L or even a 2.4L (which I see is 18-ish... not much better than the 5.3L in the GMC) Besides, I'm cheap, I paid cash for this one, and couldn't get close to what I paid for an FJ-Cruiser... They're just too new... I found 1 that was in the range I wanted to pay... clicked on it, to see salvage title in all caps... and the thing was STILL WRECKED!!! Front and rear just DESTROYED... ummm, no. Do I dig the aesthetics of the FJ's more than the E... yep, but I guess I'm just not that discriminating... I also have two kids, and the rear suicide doors beat the pooh out of strapping them into a Wrangler back seat.

Now THAT'S what I thought that I would hear...
Thanks Sarge, I'll remember that when I'm pulling your vehicle and/or parts back to camp. Or maybe I'll just start ripping on Camaros... hehehe

Who? Me or CW...??
And do I know you? Sarge, I've learned not to let CW's "online persona" interfere with my opinion of him.
