Sugar Bowl

Sure thought UC had better chance with Florida.... The Gators just seem to be running them over at times....

533 yards by Tim Tebow!!!! Maybe that is why there coach wanted to get out before the bowl game.

Tims 31 of 35 will be the death of any opponent. I think BK could have made better adjustments, but then again he wouldn't have gotten the big contract with this loss. Hmmmmm. Wonder what the Domers are thinking about their future teams?

UC never had a chance. Take one look at the size of the players on each team and then look at the talent of said players. No chance at all. Before the game or during the game.

UC deserved to be in the bowl game, but had no chance in hell at beating Florida.

the game was a joke. florida should have been in the national championship, and they crushed UC, and ran up the score to prove a point. The committee voting of who plays what is ridiculous.

UC deserved to be there, but never had a chance at even putting on a good show for them

Tebow will make a good first round nfl pick next year.

Florida is in a whole different league. UC had a great year. Just wish it ended better. I would have liked to have seen the backup quarterback for UC play.

Going undefeated in one of the mid-major conferences is a lot different than going undefeated in the SEC, Pac 10 or Big Ten. I'm a WVU fan and thus a Big East fan but those teams are not in the same league as some of the bigger conference teams. That being said, UC had a lot of things going against them, including Brian Kelly abandoning them before the game. I think if their minds would have been right they would have had a better showing. Another thing that happened was that Florida came into the game with a chip on their shoulder and wanted to prove a point.

As for Tebow, I don't think you'll see him being a major QB in the NFL. I think he's going to have to learn how to be a third down back or something like that. He's not going to make a good NFL QB.

Dude, Big East was ranked the #2 conference behind the SEC.... for strength of schedules by the BCS.

Proves one of two things..rankings mean nothing or the SEC is just that much better overall... I think it's both.

Yep, I'm also a OSU fan and it was as hard to watch last year as the assbeat'n the UC took this year.

I'm not sure if Tebow is a NFL QB but he's a winner and might be the greatest collegiate QB ever , at least that I've seen .. I would find a place on my team for him.

Don't know about you guys, but was I the only one to notice play calling looked different? I think BK would have done a better job. After all. BK leaves cmu, quin coaches their bowl. Quin and Butch both apply, butch gets the job. Bk leaves cincy, quin coaches their bowl. Quin and butch both apply, butch gets the job. You just can't expect a OC to manage correctly against Flo-rida in the Sugar bowl.
With that said....Florida was nearly perfect. They play like that against Bama and their in......Period!

I agree, BK did all the play calling and the hurry-up spread offense is ment to keep the D on it's heels. When you take the entire playclock to get the play in it gives the D time to set-up. Pike also had a crappy showing, I'd have sat him in the second half. They let the D get set and did not make any adjustments to the full blitz Florida was runnin on D. If the O would have been working Florida would not have gotten the ball for 22 minutes of the first half and scored 30, would have been a VERY different game.

We'll see how Butch does next season.
