Check your clutch fluid level. Any leaks?

i think what fiscus was saying is i beleive it has a hydrolic clutch. that being said it has a seperate resivoir for fluid much like your brake master cyl only smaller on the firewall and it uses dot 3 brake fluid. if that gets low it will cause your problem. if so look up under the dash where it attaches to the clutch pedal and you may see fluid leaking down the inside of the firewall. if thats the case you need a clutch master cylinder. if its dry there then look down by the trans at the release fork and that would be the slave cylinder. if all is good there then you can try bleeding the system but most likely you are haveing a clutch starting to fail. good luck and hope this long winded post helps

most of the time if the fluid is low its the clutch master cylinder leaking inside the vehicle but could be either

need to know what year but i took a guess at 1988. if that is close there should be and access port on the side of the trans bellhousing. it looks like yours has a hydrolic release bearing instead of an actual external slave cylinder. you need someone to pump the clutch pedal and hold it down while you open the bleed screw in the access area of the bellhousing and you treat it just like bleeding brakes. just make sure to keep the fluid up in the resovoir

:(ok,thanks again scott. It is a 89' i believe replacing the slave cylinder requires the transmisson to come out unfortunatley. I read on a bronco forum which sucks cause thats just something i dont have time for.haha:(

The fluid must have gone somewhere though... since one day you had fluid & the next you didn't.
