I know he has been thinking about moving on for the past couple years. The insurance bill is due at the end of February every year and it is a lump sum payment. Also in the past year they passed an noise ordinance in the county so no more night riding was allowed. He has been harassed about keeping the road completely clear of mud and gravel. I haven't talked to him in a couple weeks, but I would assume that the insurance payment was the primary reason.

I know I will miss having it so close to the house (7 miles from me).

well that place was not very exciting for the drive it was for me. but I really hate to see any off road place close.this is another reason to keep supporting Haspin ,alot of people hate on haspin but the reality is Haspin is a fun place to wheel and its a long time wheeling spot. and they have always been really nice people running the place.( in my opinion) so if you don't want to drive 150 plus miles and more each way to wheel, Haspin is good fun. off-road parks for us here in the greater cincy area are limited to two parks . Haspin and Dtor all other parks are alot of miles and driving and that cost a lot.. for me Haspin is close and cost effective and plenty of fun for my level of wheeling.
