Only had a day and decided to head on over to big rock with the truggy, quad and bike. Upon arrival, I was told of a brand new hummer H3 that had its self in a dangerous situation. 3 jeeps had been there for 3 hours and could not free him from the edge of a 60 foot cliff that he was teetering on. I was able to free him from his prediciment. Later on I met up with a bunch of good guys from Muddy Buddys who were there for their first time and ended up leading them around for the day. They were a whole bunch of fun and very capable in the woods. We went up all of the power line trails, creeks, tire pit, and other hill climbs without incident. In 4 hours most of the terrain was covered except for one obstacle. This obstacle was not even considered by anyone. One local said he had only seen a handful of vehicles start it and usually wound up badly broken and not past the 1/4 way point. This obstacle is straight out of the top truck challenge. It has telephone poles spaced out over 100 feet in random lengths pinned into the ground with mud and water between them that is deep. (real deep) As the crew from muddy buddys waited on the sides of the trap, many others came on by to hopefully see metal fly. It was the end of the day and the truggy had proved itself well, so I decided what the he!!, I am going for it! I lined my truggy up on the left corner of the beginning of the trap and backed up to get a (JUMP) start. I selected a mid range gear selection and proceeded to full throttle towards the 1st pole...
See yall at the meeting on 5/7/07!
