GM Flex Plate/Flywheel question
Ok,I just bought an 86 Chevy Military CUCV M1008 1 1/4 ton pickup from 502EFI (Chris) and it had a 6.2 diesel in it but it has been removed..It still has the 400t and 208 in it along with the torque converter is in it too..I have a couple questions..The converter has 6 mounting points to attach it to the flex plate/Flywheel..I bought a used GM 350 crate engine from a friend and it came out of a camaro with an auto and I was wondering if the I am going to be able to use the flexplate that is on the 350 with the 6 bolt torque converter?? I havent gone over and picked up the engine yet so I havent looked at it to see if it has a 6 bolt patern or not..Also I was wondering if the 350 will be an easy drop in and bolt rite up swap or if there is going to be a lot of moving motor mounts etc since it had a 6.2 diesel in it..It has a hydro boost brake system on it and the 350 already has a power steering pump on it and I was also wondering if it will have to be swapped out for a different pump to work with the hydro boost set up..
