BigRed My jeep ate my wallet Join Date: Aug 2010 Location: cincinnati Posts: 31	XJ transfer case I have a 92 Jeep Cherokee XJ Laredo edition. I'm trying to find out what type of Transfer Case I have. It appears that there are 4 types that went into XJs over the course of the XJ existence. Anyone know how to tell which one is which? Plus. I need a replacement for the one I have.
