Mud balls!

Wheeling at Rush back in March, I had a tire come off the rim. We got it reseated pretty easily, but I knew there was a big old mud clod, caught INSIDE the tire.

It's been in there ever since. You could hear it bouncing around in there, but it wasn't really hurting anything.

Today, I dismounted that tire to install beadlocks, and discovered that the mud had broken into 100 pieces, and then each one had rolled itself into a perfect 1/2" ball...
