Rotisserie... for a car or frame...
I know someone had one of these on the board here, and i think it got lost in the big crash... anyways, who's got one, or has access to one that i can borrow?
don't really have time to make my own right now, but one of these will make my welding go MUCH faster.

Mike, Can't help you much, but at the top of this photo is a Willys tub upside down on a wooden rotisserie. It was made of 2x6 wood frame with a metal pipe and flange on each end. The pipe spun in a clamp type pipe vise on one end to hold it in position. it just spun through a wood block on the other end. It was simple and if put together with wood screws the wood could be easilly reused. John

thats a cool idea, but doubt it would hold up to the weight of this chassis.... it's a heavy pig, that's for sure.
i found some decent online plans, and could prolly build a kick ass one in a weekend, but just don't want to spend a weekend working on it. would rather spend the weekend working on the rig instead.

you could spend a weekend building a rotisserie or spend a weekend laying on your back welding on the underside of you buggy...I'd just weld on the 4x4;)

Mike,
I just saw an ad in a car magazine for a neat rottisserie at www.theroto2000.com There may be a couple of options there that you may find interesting and could incorporate into your plans. John
