Craigslist no more?

Probably not if ebay had anything to do with it.

i think that it's crap. why's ebay gotta push everyone around... craigslist makes the owners next to no money... not sure why ebay ever bought interest in teh company to begin with. their goal im sure was to gain control and shut it down. thus forcing more people to use ebay.

Craigslist will not be gone, but Ebay has big bucks & wants the cash (while craigslist gets TONS of traffic & sales - but is free) from it. I think Craigslist wont go away, but you never know. I know napster was the cat's ass for a while but it went away REAL quick when big money talked.

I know I no longer even browse ebay but I'm on craigslist EVERY day.

Ditto. I used to like ebay back when it was just regular people selling stuff, not "ebay stores" and businesses trying to sell their cheap Chinese crap.

ebay has been trying to shut it down for several years now

read this;http://www.craigslist.org/about/factsheet.html

Q: Is there a connection between craigslist and eBay?
A: eBay acquired 25% of the equity in craigslist from a former shareholder in august of 2004.
