As for tire coverage, I know there is a reg that commercial trucks must run mudflaps, and stipulates the exact size.

But I haven't been able to find anything covering private vehicles.

If anyone has the ticket and/or reg#, I'd love to see it. I like to be proven wrong almost as much as being right...
