car trouble any ideas would help

my wife's car (93 Nissan Altima) sometimes dose not get spark from coil other times it runs fine

have tried swapping out coils ( same thing happens) also tried swapping out the ignition control module

it seems to do it after the car runs for a while it has died a few times then not stard back for a while

any ideas could help

is there any oil inside the distributor,under cap. i've seen oil leak thru the shaft seal and get onto the pick-up and cause similar problems.

the coil is not fireing so it's before the distibutor

the pick-up inside the dist tells the coil when to fire
