Fruit Trees... Got Cherries?
Anybody have knowledge about cherry trees? I was cutting back some brush in my back yard this past Saturday and found the tree with the fruit starting to turn a nice red color. I am trying to figure out what type and if its worth eating :) My neighbor has an apple tree and theres a peach tree a block up the street so the local produce is pretty nice and this would be a sweet bonus.
Thanks, AARON

My Grandpa had a couple years ago, he would hang pie plates in the trees to keep the birds out. When we pruned the trees we cut the branches that went up and kept the down turned branches.

So what do ya think.... Would you try and eat it? If its a good tart cherry, it should go rather well with some vodka

I used to eat a bunch off of the trees my Grandpa had they were good. Grandma would freeze them and make pies and stuff out of them.
