Transmission Advise 4L65E

Ok so I am at 100K miles and I am starting to get shuddering under acceleration. This is usually the signs of a torque converter not locking up. And the right fix is to to a rebuild. So kinda looking for some advise here on rebuilding it stronger than stock.

I have future plans to take this truck to over 500HP in the next 12 months and the stock setup is only good for about 390 or so. Is there any kits out there that are streetable that I can get for this trans?

Here is one place that I found. It show a list of improvements made to hold more power. If you talk to a place about buying parts, be sure to tell them of your plans (Nitrous, Supercharger, turbo, etc) cause some parts are subject to change.

They appear to use Precision Industries Torque Converters which are reputable in the DMAX crowd

Well my father in law owns a transmission shop. But he hardly does anything but stock rebuilds. I am also looking into a 4l80e swap. So if anyone knows anything about that it would be great to hear from you.

False alarm. All that shuddering was coming from a bad 1/2 shaft. Its fixed and Im looking to go wheeling tomorrow.
