Square door uppers or round door uppers?
If they are square I will get some pictures of my factory soft top on my 90 YJ if your interested. But the way the top holds to the frame is all built in to the frame. Should be an upright piece, that runs right near the B pillar. Correct. But with that being said it is possible to use a TJ top on a YJ with some retrofitting. Easiest is a new cage with the TJ door surrounds. Or trade/sell the top for a YJ top. |

Besttop makes a replacement top for a YJ with the rounded upperdoors and it gets rid of the factory "sliding" tract for the top. The side bars look like a 'Y'. It's a pretty nice top. If that is what you have you'll just need the correct 1/2 doors. or visa versa.
