1997 tj $3950
SOLD
I bought a 1997 TJ a month ago with the intention of fixing one leaky brake line and re-selling it for a small profit. One leaky brake line turned into multiple lines, front calipers and pads, etc, so now I'm selling it to break even. In Columbus OH 43201 Clean Title in hand. 1997 4.0L 5spd D35 rear 128,000+ miles Emerald Green, tan soft top and interior. Stock CD player Starts easy, drives strong, shifts well, 4x4 works. (notice how I didn't say it stops) 33x12.5 procomp ATs (no lift that I can tell) See pics, what you see is what you get. BAD: One major problem: Rear axle tube seals are leaking fluid onto rear brakes so it needs new seals, brakes, and the system bled. It has some pedal now, but I wouldn't really drive it as is. (I have limped it to and from the shop using downshifting and what little brake power it has.) Minor problems: fenders are very rusty underside is pretty rusty, but not rotted no carpet, floor has some rust but is solid windshield is cracked and no mirror The usual minor scratches and dents This thing would be a great rig with some tube fenders, linex, and meaner 33s. Video of start up: See my entire album of pics here: http://s250.photobucket.com/albums/g...83/FOR%20SALE/ [IMG]http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg246/jblake183/FOR%20SALE/SNV32138.jpg[/IMG Last edited by SHAKEnBLAKE; 02-09-2012 at 09:50 PM. |
