Estimated delivery date: 6/15/12. Only seven months after I ordered one, but at least it does appear they're gonna make some...

Pushed back again. July 17th.

Does anyone have any idea how I can resolve this?

Short of buying a set of Goodyears out of pocket?

I did discover that the KM2s are apparently available now, from Summit Racing. They're $40 a pop more than I paid for em, plus $65 shipping and tax, but if I can get sams to refund me on the two split ones, I could have two new ones for $150 out of pocket...

What am I gonna do? I can't strangle the BFG dork through the phone, and if I punch the guy at Sams, I'll get arrested, kicked out, AND I'll have no tires. :(

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...rer=BFGoodrich

How's tire rack's price compare to summit?

I think Sams was $202, TireRack is $218, Summit is $240.

Summit Racing showed them available to ship today.

So I went to Sam's, raised a stink, and demanded my money back.

They screwed me on the pro-rate, but gave me $380 or so.

Just went to order from Summit, and it gives me this:

Quote:
The part BFG-07737 is being discontinued and only has 1 available for purchase. The quantity you requested for BFG-07737 has been adjusted accordingly.
Are you fawking kidding me?

I assume just the 35-15 KM2, but it sure doesn't matter to me, I'll never buy another BFG of any model, any size.

I paid almost $1000 for four matching tires, just over a year ago. I only got six month's use out of two of them. And now I've got $375 and two tires I can't trust on the trail, and I can't even buy matches for.

Piss on em.

"SAMS" That right there is the issue..... If it aint on the shelf you'll never get any..... they are just cool like that!

Go to Tire Discounters, and buy the insurance, they will replace NO questions asked! Well worth the investment.

Yep, I cut a tire on 2 consecutive weekends and that ended using radial mud tires for me!

Went to beadlocks and Swamper "SX's" in 36x12.50 15 Bias for offroad and never looked back. I run BFG AT's in 35" for the street, cause thay are an awesome snow tire on the road.

It stings trashing $500 or $600 in tires in two weeks! I feel your pain brother!

How bad are the cuts, ever thought about having them vulcanized to use on the trails? I know a guy that can do it locally for you, just a thought.

Can your guy do the sidewall right below the tread if the cut is 1/2 long?

I gotta disagree. Sam's has always special ordered stuff for me, and always had it in 3-4 days. If, y'know, it exists...

They won't -can't- replace em if the replacement tires just aren't available.

Besides, Sam's charged me $201ea, plus $9 for mounting, lifetime balance and road hazard. $210 total, $840/four.

TD wants $254, plus $25 install, plus $29 road hazard. $308 and $1232 total...

It was an option, but (1) I need a streetable tire, this is my daily driver, (2) I knew I'd have to return the split ones to get my replacements, and (3) I wasn't about to take another BFG out into the woods!

BFG quit returning my emails.

Sam's gave me $375 for the two split tires.

I'll buy something else, and then try to sell my mismatched BFG's for as much as I can...
