Best tuner for 06 cummins?

What is the best manufacturer when it comes to tuners for a 2006 dodge cummins with some mods? I have heard of smarty with an edce CTS display combo. Anyone heard of this or know of any good ideas? Looking for fuel economy with power. Got 23 mpg going to gatlinburg but need more power!

Running a super b turbo, air dog 165, 5" exhaust, AFE intake, Banks intake horn, edge juice attitude with CTS display, gorend trans.

Smarty without a doubt I've always been a fan of analog gauges but since you already have CTS might as well use it. keep your foot out of it and you should see low to mid 20s mpg

The original smarty has better power options/ better tunes. Jr is the entry level smarty I believe. What trans do you have? Even the smarty jr will make a stock auto commit suicide. If its an auto, I'd build it first.

That too. Same thing goes about trans though. ;)
I've heard people argue both sides. Smarty vs EFI for cummins.

I have efi on my dmax, but its the only way to go as far as I'm concerned for dmax.

I'd go efi personally more tunable and also will work with edge juice or insight. I have the insight for my gauges.

How many miles are on your truck? Mine has 146k and I don't know if they've ever been done. So the way I see it 1500 now is better than a motor down the road lol.

I had a gameplan when I bought the truck new on when and what I would replace and mod. So far it has gone according to plan for the most part. Injectors are on the list for the 100k mark and maybe twins.

efi would be best. You will never out grow it. Might have to go back to get it retuned for mod's later but that is it.

It has ample room for 6 people 6' tall. Also has alot of area behind the seats for storage. I had 4 men and 2 honda crf50 dirt bikes in the interior before. Guess I have had all kinds of interesting items inside this truck come to think of it. Only one down side to a megacab. Dodge installs a regular a/c unit in all of their trucks and they are unable to keep up with a black truck on a july day. Oh and it is more to clean!

This is the longest that I have ever kept a truck but I have been looking around recently.
