John Deer Tractor Shop
Anybody work at or recommend an Ag tractor shop that sells parts? I am sure somebody here knows of a good shop. I need a couple of fenders John Deer part number L64208
I need to cover the rear tires on my Comanche and what I thought would work on paper with the tube work just isnt going to cut it in the rain going down the highway and I really dont want to deal with the cops and fender laws. Heres a pic of the fenders on the Longfield buggy: I am also open to other fender options that might be cheaper/easier to get. Thanks, AARON

I wasnt sure about fender laws here, but in NC and depending on the cop, they will harass you for having uncovered tires. The Jeep is in my moms name in NC for insurence reasons since I am in grad school. I still want to be able to drive this thing on the road and not attract the attention of the police as well as not spraying the cab plus everybody around me with crap coming off the tires.

Why don't you get some plastic parrels and fab up some holding brackets.

I would go to a tractor graveyard first if your looking for JD fenders. Try www.tractorbynet.com to find out where the closest one is to you. Although tractor fenders do take quite a beating.
