Smokey Bear & ATV Ad

Sharing this, though I have not seen it firsthand...

For those of you who subscribe to CRAWL Magazine I am sure you read the story about Smokey the bear and the ad that most of us have seen on TV. The ad has two guys starting ATV's and then a girl on a bike meets up with them and turns into smokey the bear. She then says "hey guys dont start those here the sparks could start a forrest fire". The guys then head back to load up the ATV's on their trucks. This is anti-public land use propaganda at its best. However, thanks to hundreds of dedicated off roaders and the Blue Ribbon Coalition for sending hundreds of letters and taking action...those ads are history!

I guess she has never heard of spark arresters, she could fall off of her bike and it could spark if it fell on a rock.
