Haspin carnage pics
As promised a few pics of the damage. I have not fixed it yet , I did get the new bracket but the Honey Do List and Detox did not allow for Jeep time In looking at the new Bracket ( off of TJ ) I would say that this was a problem area . The TJ bracket is much more beefy.

I could weld that bracket up for ya and add some gussets for a backup.

i used to break passenger side motor mounts on my old 91 yj about every third trip out. one of the main reasons i got rid of it, never could get anything ot last, even homemade ones would rip off eventually. never figured out what the problem was, started after i put a new motor in it. the guy that owns it now got sick of fixing htem too, so he swapped in a 383.

Got the TJ bracket on today , I had to modify the YJ motor mount slightly . The TJ mount is much beefier and not cast aluminum like the YJ one. It also raised the motor up about an inch so I'm going to raise the other side up with a spacer or another TJ bracket. Found out that I also killed the trans mount , but the motor seems to be fine ...... at least no knock ...knock yet .

Just feel lucky! I have seen more than one 4.0 motor mount tear out the side of the block!
