Fng!!
Hey guys and girls,
My Name Eric. I am an avid outdoorsman and really enjoy wheeling my H2. I have been to Windrock, Kinzalow's, Harlan County, Haspin and some private land in Southern Ohio where I hunt. I am currently hold a seat on the Board of Directors for THCI (The Hummer Club Inc.) I ran into Scott Armstrong (I used to work with him at Acura years ago) last weekend at a wedding reception and he told me about your forum. So I thought I would sign up and see what your crew is all about. Anyway I really am not a wealth of knowledge in the Jeep and Sami world but have a pretty good understanding the the Hummer line up. So I am not really sure how much good tech I can contribute. But I promise to try my best. I have done a handful of mods to my H2. Lift, 37" tires, winch bumper, roof rack, offroad lighting etc... And just ordered a front locker. Anyway I look forward to finding a good group of local wheelers to hit some trails with. Thanks, Eric

Many folks here run (sometimes hacked up) HMMWV wheels, so you're not that far out of the group!
I can't wait to hit RattleRock and #39 again at Windrock... and the entire place @ Harlan.. Welcome! It's all your fault Scott! I'm going to assume that your in the dual toy "boat" as well, judging by the screenname... there's a few in here that are right there with you, myself included. Pics of the H2 and boat are definitely in order... Here's my two watching Daddy wakeboard... Start'em early!! Still a nap taker...

Wires are limb risers. Help keep low hanging branches and brush from dragging along the sides of your truck by getting it to ride up on top of the truck. Keep you from getting smacked in the face by branches hanging across the trail! lol.
I made a magnetic shield for the body of my truck. Sure beats a whole Saturday with a high speed buffer. I use the blue tape to hold the edges down at highway speeds.

Just curious, do you run tie rod sleeves or is that a concern with your ifs.
I have a 2500HD duramax and I have been concerned about that.

Yes those pix above are me. Took the wrong way down that morning. That was the first time I had ever run down Devils Backbone. I obviously took the wrong line and did not want to drag that tree down the side of my rig so I ended up backing out with the help of a winch and had to turn the truck around and go all the way back up to come back down the right line. Good times!
