Talking YJ wiper motor stop

My YJ's wipers run fine but seem to stop in the middle of the windshield. It is rather annoying as they are directly in my line of sight. Thinking the motor has issues and the switch is inside. Linkage is good and tight. What do ya think?

Does it matter if the wipers are on delay, low or high speed? Could be a timer fault

I need to look at them closer but I do know that when they turn off they are stopped in the middle of the wiper stroke which puts them directly vertical.

take the linkage off at the motor and the rotate the wipers to your desired position and then reattach at the motor. sounds like someone installed out of phase

That would be too simple though. I wondered if that would make the wipers run too far in one direction but after looking at the linkage setup I think you have something. ;)

seats?

You could always just move your seats toward the center console. Then you could see better. It can't be as simple as the other stuff.
