i like it, if the bed were half as nice as that cab though, i would have had a hard time cutting that thing up! i would love to have a tacoma identical to that.

you know i'm in on this one. are you using a tacoma or earlier frame? why not use the 3.4 or 2.7? are you using a 22r cause you got the drivetrain laying around to make a passenger side drop for the front axle? did you get the taco gutless?

I have a comment on one little aspect of the cage... Take it or leave it, it's just a comment...
If you were to "apply downward force" to that top bar (like rolling on your lid, for example... not that it will happen, purely hypothetical ) that little bend in the rear-most diagonals would give the force a direction to bend those diagonals... and they are going to bend toward the interior of the bed (and your "stuff" in it), while taking out the nice shocks... anyone else see this? Hate to sound pirate-ish, but more triangulation? Overall, I really dig this build... great stuff...

that was the exact thing that ran through my head brad. some sort of brace on that tube i think would be a good idea.

Oh yeah, I like that MUCH better for that area of the cage that I noted...
Are these roller tires/wheels... (or is it camera angle?) They seem really close to the rear bumps on both sides... (as if one dropped, the other would be dragging the bump) Nice clean design, I really do like it... I just ask too many questions...

I can appreciate keeping it low... guess I was talking about the sideways distance to the tires... if the wheels that you're going to run have less backspacing I would think that you'd be fine, but I'm looking at this...
Just feels like flexed out to one side, the opposite side would be dragging the bump or bump support... could be camera angle though... If you're gonna keep a tool bag behind the Propane tank, would it make more sense to turn the schrader valves of the shock outward? (I was riding with Butch once when a freak tree branch came down and popped the schrader valve off... talk about surprising... )
