The few folks i know that have run them in the past have either had bad luck with them, or went back to stock after they broke cause not just the ujoint breaks.... So you end up have to replace everything...

Do some searching on here....http://forum.ih8mud.com/ or here http://forum.ih8mud.com/79-95-toyota-truck-tech/... There is wealth of info on these forums, and they are not a**holes like on pirate... at least that is my experience with pirate.

i've got a set i'll sell you cheap, they need a new short side inner i believe. all they are is a chromoly d44 shaft with the d44 spindle. i'll sell mine cheap, they came on the buggy, i'm putting my longfields in tommorrow hopefully. if you are interested in them, pm me, and i'll figure out a price on them.

actually, after seeing the price of them, i don't think thats a bad price. the problem i think everyone has with them, is oversteering them, you limit the steering more, i don't think they'd be a problem. on a regulare d44 you can run up to a 37 with no probs. but like was said, when they go, they will mess up alot. i'm currently in the price of replacing the knuckle ball on mine right now bc of them.

Yes im going to go with the longfields... save myself some trouble down the line.... really tired of braking stuff every time out, I want it bomb proof , well some what any ways.. since I dont see myself running anything bigger than a 37 or 38 on the yota axles down the road...
I hope that ill be good to go in the rocks and mudd...
